There once was a pig named Fred,
Who loved to dance on his big brass bed.
He twirled and spun, a sight to behold,
His hooves a-tapping with a rhythm bold.
The farmyard was all out of sorts
From the oinks and jiggles, stomps and snorts.

In a world of make-believe and play,
A dragon soared on a sunny day.
He roared with glee, his wings spread wide,
Breathing fireballs on a thrilling ride.
But when darkness came and the moon arose,
Away he flew. Where? No one knows.

A noisy bunch of monkeys swung,
From branch to branch, they loudly sung.
They hopped and chattered, north and south,
Bananas filling up their mouths.
With somersaults and flips so high,
Giggling laughter filled the sky.

Beneath the stars, the crickets played,
Their tiny legs a symphony they made.
They chirped and hummed in the cool night air,
Melodic sounds without a care.
As fireflies danced, their lights aglow,
The nighttime concert stole the show.

A duck and a chicken, an unlikely pair,
Decided to race, a wild affair.
They waddled, clucked, a feathers flurry,
With quacking, squawking, in quite a hurry.
But nose to nose (or beak to face)
'Twas hard to tell who won the race.

Shaping Worship - book by Steve Baney

The question isn't whether you will lead people; it's where you will lead them.

Whether you're holding a microphone, playing a keyboard, strumming a guitar, or running a sound system, the example you set can either lead people toward worship or away from it. Worship leaders around the world have benefitted from applying the lessons in this book.
